Bohemia Interactive is seeking an Intermediate QA Automation Engineer for Arma 4. This role involves creating and maintaining auto-tests, testing game features, and collaborating with QA and development teams to enhance automated QA processes. The ideal candidate has a critical, results-focused mindset, can identify systemic issues, and is open to learning and mentoring. You will contribute to project stability and quality, and maintain documentation and test cases.
Must have:
  • Creating and maintaining auto-tests (using a scripting language based on C#)
  • Testing game features and functions (functional testing, regression testing, continuous testing)
  • Cooperating with the QA Team and other departments to improve automated QA processes and pipelines
  • Cooperating with other QA Engineers and departments to design, prototype, implement, and maintain new automated QA pipelines
  • Maintaining overall awareness regarding project stability & quality
  • Creating and maintaining documentation, guidelines, and test cases
  • At least 2 years of relevant industry experience
  • Great analytical thinking
  • Advanced understanding of OO design
  • Willingness to learn in-house scripting language Enforce
  • Basic experience with Jenkins and/or other CI/CD tools
  • Advanced knowledge of scripting or programming
  • Experience with test automation
  • Efficient communication skills
  • English language at a level that can handle documentation and team communication
Good to have:
  • Hands-on experience with BI games and engine
  • Experience with software like Tracy / Selenium / JMeter
  • Experience with game content creation

Job Details

Your job will be to create and maintain auto-tests for existing and future features, as well as serve as an integral part in shaping QA automation for the future.

You will be working alongside other Automation Engineers, as well as QA Testers, and collaborating directly with developers and other departments, as QA is directly integrated into the production process.

If you have a critical and results-focused mindset, can identify and handle systemic issues (rather than seeing and treating symptoms of such), and are open to learning new skills, as well as mentoring others on the basics, then we would love to hear from you!
