As an intern at Western Digital, you will assist in developing and enhancing Digital Twin and simulation for automation hardware. You will participate in Mechanical simulation, engage in project management activities and team meetings, and present progress and ideas to team members and stakeholders. This role involves the integration of sensors, AI, IoT, and automation, transforming fault detection into a proactive approach. The ideal candidate should be pursuing a Bachelor's degree and available for an internship duration of 3 months or more. The intern will also demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and presentation abilities, and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.

Must have:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the development and enhancement of Digital Twin and simulation for automation hardware
Participate in Mechanical simulation
Engage in project management activities and team meetings
Present progress and ideas to team members and stakeholders

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, software, automation, data science, or a related field. Available for an internship duration of 3 months or more
The integration of sensors, AI, IoT, and automation is transforming fault detection into a proactive
Experience with programming such Python for automation and data acquisition

SKILLS:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication and presentation abilities
Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends
Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency (written/verbal)
