Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Capable of developing and deploying data science solutions to support analytics and digital transformation initiatives
• Develops projects to monitor and analyze trends in HDD, Head, and Media parametric performance
• Creates solutions to support failure analysis by identifying possible causes using machine learning or other analytical tools
• Develops tools to automate the qualification result analysis of head, media, and code
• Supports yield improvement and reliability tracking for HDD

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Computer science, or a related field

PREFERRED:

• Time management and project execution
• Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency; internship period must be at least 4-6 months

SKILLS:

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, Big Data platforms, AWS Redshift, etc.
• Familiar with some of the following Statistical Analysis & Modelling Tools: JMP, Minitab, SPSS, Enterprise Miner, Enterprise Guide, SAS coding
• Knowledge or experience with data visualization methods
• Self-motivated, self-directed, and ability to work well with people
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
