Job Description

The Medical Office is dedicated to providing functional expertise to Philips' businesses and regions in areas such as Medical Safety, Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, and Health Economics, Market Access, and Reimbursement. The intern will be responsible for understanding the role of the Medical Office, gaining project management experience, applying existing skills, and developing new skills within a MedTech environment. They will also assist in driving key projects to create an impact. This is an on-site internship position.
Must have:
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree (BS) at an accredited college.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Passion for improving lives through meaningful innovation in healthcare.
  • Interest in a MedTech career and eagerness to gain experience.

Job Description

The Medical Office works to deliver functional expertise to Philips businesses and regions in the areas of Medical Safety, Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs and Health Economics, Market Access and Reimbursement.

Your role:

  • Onboard and understand the role and key function of the Medical Office in Philips.
  • Gain practical work experience in project management by helping drive key projects forward.
  • Apply existing skills (data and consulting) and grow new skills in a MedTech environment.
  • Help accelerate key projects to drive impact in the Medical Office and beyond.

  • Be passionate about improving lives through meaningful innovation in healthcare.
  • Be interested in a career in the MedTech sector and eager to gain practical work experience and grow your skills.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

 This is an office role.

Philips Transparency Details

The Hourly range for this position is $25-$28 per hour.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case

Additional Information

US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Orange.
