The Internal Communications Assistant will join the Studio Communications and Engagement team, assisting in the creation and distribution of internal communications and engagement campaigns, and supporting employee events. Responsibilities include writing and editing content for internal platforms, collaborating with various teams to create engaging content, providing communication support to social and employee-led groups, collecting employee feedback, and providing administrative support. The modern studio is located in the vibrant technology hub of Cambridge (UK). The talented team at Frontier are dedicated to nurturing our existing portfolio and delivering our exciting future roadmap. 

This role is offered on a full in-studio basis or a hybrid basis (typically 3 days per week in the studio). We can provide a comprehensive relocation support package as part of any offer, should you need to relocate. 

WHAT’S THE ROLE
We have created a brand-new opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic Internal Communication Assistant to join the Frontier team. You will join the Studio Communications and Engagement team and will be integral in supporting the delivery of both engaging internal communication and enjoyable employee events.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

    • Assisting in the creation and distribution of internal communications and engagement campaigns.
    • Supporting with the planning and delivery of employee events, including working at internal employee events which often take place during the evenings around once per month.
    • Writing and editing engaging content for internal platforms, including Microsoft Teams, intranet, email, and digital signage.
    • Collaborating with HR, Marketing, and Operational teams to create cohesive, effective and engaging content for our people.
    • Providing communication support to our social committee and employee-led groups e.g. social groups and advocacy groups.
    • Liaising with Operational teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient and cost-effective event coordination.
    • Collecting and analysing employee feedback to improve communication approaches and event planning.
    • Provide administrative support to the Studio Communications and Engagement team, including calendar and inbox management.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

    • Previous professional experience or education in Internal Communications, Journalism, PR or Marketing.
    • A passion for employee engagement and enthusiastic to foster a positive workplace environment.
    • Proficiency with communication platforms e.g. Microsoft Teams, intranet systems, email marketing tools, and digital signage.
    • Active listening skills to collaborate with different teams and understand employee feedback.
    • A positive team player with the ability to build relationships across the company at all levels.
    • Creative ideas for employee engagement activities and events.

BONUS IF YOU HAVE:

    • A degree or relevant qualification in Internal Communications, Journalism, PR or Marketing.
