Job Description

Frontier is seeking a driven and solutions-oriented HR Advisor to join their People Team. This role involves providing high-quality generalist HR support, managing employee relations, handling HR casework, tracking metrics, and supporting strategic People Team programmes. The advisor will also collaborate on process improvement, act as an escalation point, ensure policy compliance, and maintain HRIS data, contributing to Frontier's future through impactful HR initiatives.
Must have:
  • Provide day-to-day employee relations support and coaching to people managers.
  • Manage HR casework including performance, absence, grievance, and disciplinary matters.
  • Track and analyse HR metrics, offering insights and recommendations.
  • Support the delivery of strategic People Team programmes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to evolve people processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as a point of escalation for HR Assistants and provide expert HR guidance.
  • Ensure HR policies are compliant with employment law, writing and developing policies when required.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in our HRIS.
  • Deliver briefings and communications on HR topics and initiatives.
  • Demonstrable experience in an operational HR role, ideally within a fast-paced technology or creative industry.
  • Excellent understanding of UK employment law and experience handling sensitive ER issues.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and act accordingly.
  • A continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused with a continuous improvement approach and confidence to implement processes.
Good to have:
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or currently working towards it.

The modern studio is located in the vibrant technology hub of Cambridge (UK). The talented team at Frontier are dedicated to nurturing our existing portfolio and delivering our exciting future roadmap.

This role is offered on a full in-studio basis or a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days per week in the studio). We can provide a comprehensive relocation support package as part of any offer, should you need to relocate.

WHAT’S THE ROLE

We’re looking for a driven and solutions-oriented HR Advisor to join our passionate People Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering our People Strategy, providing high-quality generalist HR support across the company, and helping shape the future of Frontier through impactful HR initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Provide day-to-day employee relations support and coaching to people managers.
  • Manage HR casework including performance, absence, grievance, and disciplinary matters.
  • Track and analyse HR metrics, offering insights and recommendations.
  • Support the delivery of strategic People Team programmes across the employee lifecycle e.g. succession planning, reward, L&D, change management.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to evolve people processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as a point of escalation for HR Assistants and provide expert HR guidance.
  • Ensure HR policies are compliant with employment law, writing and developing policies when required, and supporting managers with policy advice and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in our HRIS.
  • Deliver briefings and communications on HR topics and initiatives to the HR and wider People Team.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Demonstrable experience in an operational HR role, ideally within a fast-paced technology or creative industry.
  • Excellent understanding of UK employment law and experience handling sensitive ER issues.

BONUS IF YOU HAVE
