Context
You will join an experienced analog design team focused on developing innovative solutions for health monitoring applications. The internship will involve the study and design of analog circuits for optical signal detection using PPG (Photoplethysmography), a key technology in wearable health devices.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of a senior engineer, your tasks will include:
- Reviewing the state of the art in PPG-based health sensing systems
- Behavioral and architectural modeling of the receiver system
- Proposing analog circuit architectures for the receiver stage
- Performing simulations and validating the proposed designs
- Benchmarking performance against existing solutions
- Supporting post-layout validation and analysis of measurement results
- Documenting technical work and presenting findings to the team
Profile
- Student in electronics, microelectronics, or a related field
- Solid understanding of analog circuit design (amplifiers, filters, noise, etc.)
- Familiarity with simulation tools (Cadence, Spectre, LTspice, or similar)
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Good command of technical English (written and spoken)
