Internships/Practical Phases with Subsequent Thesis (Bachelor / Master)

For more than 100 years, STEMMANN-TECHNIK has been developing and manufacturing special products for transmitting energy and data. We literally bring electricity to where it is needed. For example, we ensure that trains run, crane and wind energy systems rotate, or electric buses, trucks, and ferries recharge their batteries with our charging solutions. We look forward to new employees who will work with us in our large team in Schüttorf, Lower Saxony, to develop and produce innovative solutions and energy trends of tomorrow for industrial and transport technology.

Tasks in this role include, among others:

• Performing technical calculations for dimensioning parts and assemblies
• Constructive design of products and components based on drafts, considering current manufacturing techniques and technical standards
• Supporting the creation of technical documentation (manufacturing drawings, bills of material)
• Coordinating designs with System Engineering
• Developing design changes
• Developing an independent research project with departments as a possible topic for a thesis

Your Profile

• You are an enrolled student in engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
• You enjoy working with 3D-CAD systems, preferably Solid Works
• Proficiency in MS-Office applications is part of your daily business
• You enjoy working in a team and are able to organize yourself
• You have very good German and at least good English language skills, both written and spoken
