iOS Engineer, Sales Engineering

Apple's Sales Engineering team is seeking an iOS Engineer to build innovative, scalable, and high-performing iOS applications for channel partners. The role involves crafting exceptional user experiences, prototyping AI/ML concepts, and building foundational components for multi-platform systems. The ideal candidate is an experienced iOS developer with a keen eye for usability and a passion for delivering reliable, high-performance applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate visions into software experiences.

Must Have

• 2+ years building iOS, iPadOS, macOS applications.
• 2+ years with SwiftUI and/or UIKit/AppKit.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift.
• Experience designing and developing high-quality applications.
• Familiarity with LLMs, AI/ML concepts, and AI feature integration.
• Experience consuming and integrating with APIs.
• Understanding of app architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC).
• Experience writing unit, UI, and integration tests (XCTest, XCUITest).

• Build innovative, scalable, high performing, and high impactful iOS applications.
• Prototype and scale innovative concepts, with a focus on AI/ML technologies.
• Build foundational components of large-scale, multi-platform systems.
• Partner closely with product management, design, domain experts, and other teams to translate user needs and creative visions into exceptional software experiences.

Key Qualifications

• 2+ years of engineering experience building applications for iOS, iPadOS, and/or macOS.
• 2+ years with SwiftUI and/or UIKit/AppKit.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Experience writing unit, UI, and integration tests using tools such as XCTest, XCUITest, or similar.
• Ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and business stakeholders to define and deliver world-class features.

Additional Information

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $220,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Employees also have the opportunity to become a shareholder through participation in discretionary employee stock programs. Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
