Job Description

Maintain island landscaping, including weeding, watering, trimming, pruning, and fertilization. Operate guest trams and mechanical equipment (power trimmer, chainsaw, tractors). Work independently, reporting abnormalities to the supervisor. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and tools. Complete daily checklists and other assigned duties. Experience in landscaping, gardening, or pest control is preferred. The role is based on Disney's private island in the Bahamas and requires adherence to safety regulations, environmental practices, and a structured lifestyle. This position is part of a team dedicated to creating unforgettable guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain island landscaping, trees and plants – weeding, watering, trimming, pruning, and fertilization
  • Drive Guest trams on call days
  • Ability to operate mechanical equipment including, power trimmer, chain saw and tractors
  • Able to work independent and report all abnormalities to Supervisor
  • Keep work areas, tools and storerooms neat and organized
  • Fill out daily checklists
  • Fulfill other duties as required by Supervisor

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in landscaping, gardening, or pest control is preferred.
  • Ability to read and write
  • Supporting documentation indicating related experience
  • Valid driver’s license

Additional Information:

This role is based on Disney’s private island in the Bahamas.

  • Be willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency duties and/or associated responsibilities
  • Be willing and able to uphold the general safety management responsibilities specified in areas and operations under their control
  • Be willing to follow and embrace Environmentality requirements and Company practices
  • Be appreciative of working and living in a multi-cultural environment
  • Be comfortable living in a confined space with strict rules and regulations
  • Adhere to a structured lifestyle, personally and professionally
Your Responsibilities:
  • Obtain a criminal background check
  • Bring approved work shoes

**Disney Cruise Line is a drug-free workplace. All new hires are required to undergo drug/alcohol testing within the first week onboard and throughout their contracts. Failure to pass the drug/alcohol testing will result in immediate termination.
