As part of global Product Integrity (PI) organization, the Senior Engineer/Analyst, Chemical Management ensures -branded consumer products meet evolving chemical safety and regulatory requirements across worldwide distribution. You’ll act as a technical consultant and partner on global chemical regulations, monitor and interpret regulatory changes, update testing requirements and programs, and communicate clearly with stakeholders and suppliers to protect Guest safety and the brand.
You Will:
- Update global chemical requirements: Review and revise chemical testing requirements to align with evolving international regulations; assess impacts and implement changes to maintain compliance and product safety.
- Execute audit & training plans: Under manager guidance and with cross-functional partners, implement chemical audit plans, communicate results, and deliver targeted training on corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
- Translate regulations into guidance: Socialize regulatory updates, their impacts, and compliance approach via trainings and guidance documents for internal teams and suppliers.
- Support chemical reporting: Contribute to reporting activities, including compliance with state-level rules (e.g., Chemicals of High Concern to Children requirements).
- Engage in industry working groups: Participate in relevant trade association working groups; monitor emerging global trends (e.g., PFAS, REACH, Prop 65), and share timely updates to inform decisions and ensure readiness.
- Partner across PI & business teams: Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate new and emerging regulations across hardlines and softlines and recommend pragmatic, risk-aware compliance strategies.
You Will Have:
- 5+ years in product safety, regulatory compliance, chemical management, product environmental compliance, or product stewardship.
- Regulatory knowledge: Working knowledge of global chemical regulations (e.g., PFAS, California Proposition 65, State CHCC, REACH).
- Communication & influence: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present technical information clearly to audiences at all levels and build trust with stakeholders.
- Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and synthesize chemical data.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to establish relationships, influence outcomes, and work effectively across functions and regions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with international product regulatory bodies/standardization organizations.
- Experience developing and implementing chemical compliance programs in a global organization.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline (e.g., Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, Environmental, or related) or equivalent relevant experience.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $94,200.00 to $126,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
