CookUnity is seeking a highly skilled and customer-oriented IT Support Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical support while demonstrating knowledge in automation, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies, and process-driven methodologies. Founded in 2018, CookUnity is a platform connecting the world with chefs, delivering 35 million meals annually, and is expanding to empower chefs and nourish the world.
Must have:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by responding promptly to IT support requests and resolving technical issues efficiently.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, and networking problems.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate tasks.
  • Manage and support MDM solutions for secure device management.
  • Implement and maintain SSO technologies for user authentication and access management.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of support processes and solutions.
  • Collaborate with business teams for seamless system integration.
  • Continuously improve support processes and procedures.
Good to have:
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL).
  • Experience with cloud technologies and services.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards (NIST).
  • Familiarity managing Ubiquity networking appliances.

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical support while demonstrating knowledge in automation, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies, and process-driven methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by responding promptly to IT support requests and resolving technical issues efficiently.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, and networking problems.
  • Develop and maintain scripts where necessary using languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Manage and support MDM solutions for secure device management across various platforms.
  • Implement and maintain SSO technologies to enhance user authentication, authorization, and access management.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of support processes and solutions.
  • Collaborate with business teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and technologies.
  • Continuously improve support processes and procedures to enhance overall service quality.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years as an IT Support Engineer or similar role.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or qualifying experience.
  • Customer Oriented: Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Device Management: Familiarity with MDM (Hexnode, JAMF, InTune) technologies and best practices for device management and policy development.
  • IAM: Knowledge of SSO technologies (Google Workspace, Okta) and identity management solutions including their best practices of authentication and authorization.
  • Experience with process-driven methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; fluent in English and Spanish.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL).
  • Experience with cloud technologies and services.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards (NIST).
  • Familiarity managing Ubiquity networking appliances.
