IT Systems Analyst

We are currently seeking an IT Systems Analyst for a Healthcare Company, one of the largest integrated, not-for-profit medical groups in the U.S. This fully remote, 1+ year contract opportunity allows you to make an impact while working with cutting-edge healthcare technology.

As an IT Systems Analyst, you’ll be a key member of the Application Support team, responsible for administering and supporting vended software applications in a clinical setting. You’ll troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the implementation of both SaaS and on-prem software solutions.

IT Systems Analyst – Responsibilities:

• Application Support: Act as the primary IT contact for multiple vended software applications, providing support and guidance for both new and existing systems.
• Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve break/fix incidents, ensuring high-quality customer service and timely resolution.
• On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation, providing after-hours support approximately once every 9 weeks.
• Technical Documentation: Create clear and concise technical documentation for new and existing applications, ensuring thorough and accurate records.
• Application Onboarding: Facilitate onboarding of new applications, working closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to create architecture diagrams for review and approval.
• Software Implementation: Support the implementation of new software applications (both SaaS and on-prem), including planning, analysis, and execution.

IT Systems Analyst – Requirements:

• Required:

  • Experience administering and supporting vended software applications in a clinical or healthcare setting.
  • Proven track record in incident management and technical support, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving issues for clinical and administrative staff.
  • Strong technical writing skills for creating high-quality documentation and process guides.
  • Experience working with software vendors and collaborating with implementation teams, project managers, and technical support teams.
  • Ability to manage small projects effectively, multitasking across tasks such as implementation, documentation, and support.
  • A strong willingness to learn new concepts and technologies, with the ability to work in ambiguous situations and ask insightful questions.

• Preferred:

  • Experience with MS SQL databases or other relational database management systems, including writing SQL queries and interpreting results.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visio for creating architecture diagrams.
