Job Description

The IT Team Lead manages relationships and monitors performance of IT vendors for outsourced services. This role involves assessing internal needs, establishing service level agreements, auditing contractual compliance, and communicating vendor scorecards. Key responsibilities include coordinating lifecycle activities, managing the IT budget, and performing cost analysis to identify cost-effective solutions. The lead will also build tools for sales trend monitoring, develop advanced budget analysis tools, and manage all software contracts and negotiations across the company.
Must Have:
  • Build tools and systems to monitor sales trends and determine product/vendor purchases
  • Develop or use advanced tools to analyze budget trends for identifying gaps, concerns, or risks
  • Possess advanced skill in contract negotiation
  • Develop strategies for inventory control procedures to ensure accurate and timely IT asset management reporting
  • Seamlessly manage all software contracts and negotiations across the entire company
  • Be a leader and expert in budget management, contract negotiation, and purchasing within CWAN
  • Make final purchasing decisions after business leaders provide input

Manages the relationship and monitors performance of information technology vendors contracted for the delivery of outsourced services. Works closely with the information technology user groups and contracted service providers to assess internal needs and vendor performance. Establishes and monitors service level agreements. Audits contractual compliance, solicits feedback from users, and communicates scorecards to vendors. Coordinates lifecycle activities such as incident management, compliance audits, software licensing and software/hardware upgrades and maintenance. Manages the IT budget and performs cost and spend analysis to identify cost effective solutions for existing and future contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Able to develop or use advanced tools to analyze budget trends to proactively identify gaps, concerns, or risks.
  • Advanced skill in contract negotiation.

  • Able to seamlessly manage all software contracts and negotiations across the entire company.
  • Viewed as a leader and expert within CWAN in budget management, contract negotiation, and purchasing.
  • Is relied upon to make final purchasing decisions once business leaders have weighed in with their input
