Java backend Lead

Brillio is seeking a Java Backend Lead in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This hybrid role involves building and optimizing Java applications, with extensive experience in Java APIs and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will have solid SQL development knowledge, proven expertise in designing secure, scalable microservices, and experience with automated testing and continuous delivery using Git. The role requires a passion for high-quality software, excellent communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree.

Must Have

• Experience building applications using Java
• Extensive experience with Java APIs, springboot
• Optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Solid SQL development knowledge (i.e. PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc…) and delivering solutions that leverage them at a massive scale
• Proven expertise in designing and developing secure, scalable microservices that handle high traffic volumes, with strong knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and integration patterns
• Exposure to automated testing and releasing software in a continuous delivery model using Git
• Enjoy working in an Agile team focused on continuous improvement
• Strong desire to learn best practices and modern software architecture and collaborate within a team
• Passionate about the art of delivering the highest quality software to customers
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people
• Bachelors degree

Senior Software Engineer – Java Backend

Required Experience:

• You have experience building applications using Java
