JAVA ENGINEER

We are seeking a proficient Java Engineer to develop robust and maintainable Spring Boot services within a micro-service architecture. The role involves translating storyboards into functional applications, designing efficient Java code, ensuring optimal performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and maintaining code quality. Collaboration with team members on different infrastructure layers is essential for sophisticated design and quality product delivery.

Must Have

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Proficient in Java with good knowledge of its ecosystems
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with MVC, JDBC, and RESTful concepts
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle
• Familiarity with continuous integration

• Experience with cloud services (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
• Experience with distributed systems
• Experience with Docker
• Experience working with Microservice oriented architectures

• Skill for writing reusable Java libraries.
• Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java.
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful.
• Hands on experience on development frameworks like Spring /boot, Hibernate and MVC.
• Knack for writing clean, readable Java code.
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Basic understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds.
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
