Job Summary

Veeam, a global leader in data resilience, is seeking a Junior Developer in QA to join their Quality Assurance Department in the Prague R&D office. This role involves advancing skills in testing and development, developing and supporting automated tests for Veeam products using Python or C#, and interacting with development teams. Responsibilities include analyzing software requirements, building and maintaining testing infrastructure, and analyzing test results. The ideal candidate is passionate about IT and programming, interested in software testing, and possesses strong analytical and communication skills with fluency in English.

The Veeam Quality Assurance Department invites you to work on Veeam products with Veeam QA professionals in the Prague R&D office. At the moment, we are looking for new colleagues in test-automation teams that use Python or C#.

Your tasks will include:

  • Advancing your skills in testing and development
  • Developing and supporting automated tests for Veeam products
  • Interacting with all participants in the development process, analysis, and discussing software requirements
  • Building and maintaining a testing infrastructure
  • Analyzing test results, and maintaining a defects database

Technologies we work with:

  • Python, PowerShell, C#, C/C++
  • GitLab, Microsoft TFS
  • TestRail

What we expect from you:

  • Dreaming of working in IT with top technologies
  • Fond of programming. You have already written scripts in Python or PowerShell, or developed apps in C/C++, C#
  • Interested in software testing
  • An open-minded person with common sense and clear logic. You have a lively mind and you like to analyze things
  • A quick learner and you like exciting and non-standard tasks
  • Fluency in English language (written and spoken)
