Experienced Frontend Developer

Veeam is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Veeam Data Cloud (VDC) engineering team. This role involves designing and developing highly responsive user interface components for web applications using React, testing and troubleshooting, building reusable components, and collaborating with other engineering teams. It's a unique opportunity to work on greenfield projects, building next-generation data protection services from the ground up for global deployment.

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise solutions with React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience with TypeScript
• Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms)
• Passionate about code quality, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation
• Impact and result-driven and biased towards execution
• A university degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience

Good to Have

• Experience with database and/or storage systems – especially in the public cloud
• Experience with Azure Cloud
• Experience with Microsoft 365
• Experience with Salesforce

About the Role

You will work with a global team to build next-generation data protection services, focusing on ensuring data resilience for our customers.This is a unique opportunity to work on greenfield projects, building features from the ground up that will be deployed and utilised worldwide.

What You’ll Do

• Design and development of highly responsive user interface components for web applications using React
• Test and troubleshoot web applications. Design and maintain unit test and end-to-end test frameworks
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to discuss requirements, design and implementation
• On-call rotation for product operations
