Job Description

The Junior Financial Analyst will play a key role in shaping the future of financial planning. This role involves monitoring costs, preparing financial reports, conducting ad-hoc analyses, and assisting with general ledger duties. Responsibilities include supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, preparing monthly gaming tax computations, participating in audits, and assisting with financial system maintenance. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, process-oriented, and possess strong communication skills. The role demands a proactive approach to financial analysis and process improvement within a collaborative environment.
Must have:
  • Part-qualified in a relevant qualification (e.g. ACCA, AAT).
  • Highly organised and self-motivated.
  • Strong process orientation.
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional ready to take ownership of core analytical responsibilities that are essential to our day-to-day success. In this role, you’ll dive into financial data, support process improvements, and contribute to key initiatives like optimising capitalisation processes, expanding cost analysis, and strengthening budgetary control. Responsibilities:

  • Support the monitoring of direct and indirect costs vs budgets and assist in the preparation for the budgeting and forecasting cycles; assist in timeline coordination and stakeholder follow-up.
  • Prepare financial reports to support month-end close and internal reporting needs.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and assist in financial modeling to evaluate business performance.
  • Assist with general ledger duties including postings, reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Help in the preparation of monthly gaming tax computations and associated compliance requirements.
  • Participate in statutory audit preparation and provide support during audit fieldwork.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement and maintain planning and forecasting systems.
  • Assist in documentation and improvement of finance processes, particularly around revenue and cost tracking.
  • Support the reconciliation of internal and third-party system data, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Contribute to ROI and tactical business analyses.
  • Help maintain structured data flows between financial and operational systems.
  • Support automation initiatives within the finance team to improve accuracy and efficiency.


About you:

  • Part-qualified in a relevant qualification (e.g. ACCA, AAT)

  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal, with solid reporting skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Consistently delivers high-quality work within deadlines, independently or as part of a team
