Job Description

The Lead Compositor will oversee a team of artists, both on-site and outsourced. They will work closely with the VFX supervisor to ensure creative and technical approaches meet client requirements. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Visual Effects Supervisor to evaluate creative and technical approaches, providing briefs and direction to the team, training and mentoring new artists, and communicating with the Production team regarding schedules and deadlines.

Must Have:

VFX / Feature Animation industry experience as a compositor.
Experience in leading and supervising a team.
Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.

We are looking for a Lead Compositor to join our team as soon as possible.

Description:

The lead compositor will be responsible for overseeing the team of artists, on-site and outsourced. You will be working closely with the VFX supervisor to ensure that the creative and technical approaches are in line with clients requirements.

Responsibilities:

Working in collaboration with the Visual Effects Supervisor to evaluate the creative and technical approach to assigned shots
Provide briefs and direction to the team in order to secure the appropriate execution of the shots
Training and mentoring of newly hired artists
Communicating with Production team regarding schedules and deadlines

Requirements:

VFX / Feature Animation industry experience as a compositor working on high-end features and episodic
Experience in leading and supervising a team
Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
