Lead Compositor

We are looking for a Lead Compositor to join our team as soon as possible.

Description:

The lead compositor will be responsible for overseeing the team of artists, on-site and outsourced. You will be working closely with the VFX supervisor to ensure that the creative and technical approaches are in line with clients requirements. 

Responsibilities:

• Working in collaboration with the Visual Effects Supervisor to evaluate the creative and technical approach to assigned shots
• Provide briefs and direction to the team in order to secure the appropriate execution of the shots 
• Training and mentoring of newly hired artists 
• Communicating with Production team regarding schedules and deadlines

Requirements: 

• VFX / Feature Animation industry experience as a compositor working on high-end features and episodic 
• Experience in leading and supervising a team 
• Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
