Job Description

As a Technical Systems Analyst, you will integrate multiple applications using APIs, acting as a Business Analyst and Product Owner. Key responsibilities include defining functional and non-functional requirements, developing data models and integration specifications, and coordinating testing. The role requires expertise in SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and experience in the US insurance domain, ensuring business value and stakeholder needs are met within an Agile framework.
Good To Have:
  • Object-oriented application development, database programming, object, process or data modeling experience is a plus
  • Review and coordinate alignment with other insurance suite components
Must Have:
  • 6 to 8 years of experience with minimum 3 years as a Business Analyst or Technical Systems Analyst
  • Expert in using SQL queries and has in-depth REST API and XML formatting knowledge
  • Knowledge of REST & SOAP API’s and familiarity with JSON & XML is mandatory
  • Working with rule engines is very much desired and knowledge about domain modeling and excel formulas is a must
  • Assist in the development of data models mappings and integration specifications
  • Experience of Insurance domain in USA
  • Experience with objects, process or data modeling and documentation
  • Make sure that requirements create business value, help to achieve business goals and objectives, and meet stakeholders’ needs
  • Elicit and define functional requirements and non-functional requirements
  • Plan and hold meetings and workshops with the client, be responsible for client communication
  • Collect, analyze and consolidate customer requirements in structured documentation
  • Coordinate functional and user acceptance testing by defining the testing strategy, scheduling resources, and tracking test performance
  • Knowledge of Jira & Confluence
  • Understands Agile Software Engineering Process Lifecycle and its relationship to Business Analysis processes
  • Ensures effective collaboration with the Development, QA and other teams
  • Ability to work with partners and colleagues in a multicultural environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
