Lead Firmware Engineer

The Lead Firmware Engineer will be responsible for participating in architecture design, designing a firmware system to work closely with ASIC for optimal performance and low power, verifying hardware blocks, and debugging issues with various teams. The role requires collaboration with hardware, software, architecture, marketing, and customer support teams, as well as external customers.

Must Have

• Participate in architecture design and trade-off discussions
• Design a FW system to closely work with the underline ASIC to provide the best performances and lowest power
• Verify various HW blocks on the defined usage scenarios
• Debug issues with the system, ASIC, SW and FW team members
• Ability to work with members from HW and SW engineering teams, architecture and marketing, customer support, as well as external customers
• Demonstrated experience with system level debugging
• Demonstrated experience working in Linux environment
• Knowledgeable of current industry network equipment testing practices
• Demonstrated ability to analyze factors affecting system or network performance
• BE/ME 8 years or equivalent experience in Firmware testing domain
