Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Lead for the QRadar Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy and Operations team, part of the Cloud and Cortex GTM organization. This role is crucial for driving pipeline generation and deal closing programs related to the QRadar business, following a significant partnership with IBM. The Lead will tackle product and GTM strategies, advise senior stakeholders, and deliver measurable results in a rapidly scaling business. Responsibilities include framing complex business problems, conducting analysis, developing recommendations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, presenting to executives, driving organizational change, and mentoring junior team members.
Must have:
  • 4+ years relevant work experience post-MBA
  • At least 2 years in management consulting, private equity, or top-tier tech strategy/bizops
  • MBA from a top-tier B-school or equivalent experience
  • Expertise in the Enterprise technology industry
  • Experience with Enterprise Technology GTM
  • Ability to build relationships and lead through influence
  • Experience managing projects and large-scale transformations
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Great teammate, willing to roll up sleeves and collaborate
  • Self-starter, thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry is a plus

Your Career

Palo Alto Networks’ Strategy team works on our most critical business challenges to drive our industry-leading growth.

This role is to be a Lead on the QRadar GTM team, as part of our Cloud and Cortex GTM organization. Palo Alto Networks entered into a major partnership with IBM in 2024 around the QRadar business, whereby we sell Cortex offerings to IBM QRadar customers. This successful and high-visibility program is a growth engine for the company.

As a Lead in the QRadar GTM team, you will be driving major pipeline generating and deal closing programs. You will be tackling topics across Product and Go-to-Market. You’ll be interacting with and advising senior stakeholders who value our counsel. And most importantly you’ll be driving measurable results as we rapidly scale this business.

Your Impact

  • Frame and break down complex business problems, develop hypotheses, drive analysis and deliver recommendations

  • Work collaboratively across a cross-functional set of stakeholders to gather the right information, pressure test your hypothesis, co-create deliverables, accelerate execution and unlock value

  • Develop and present high-quality recommendation and deliverables for executive consumption

  • Drive change across the organization and be willing to wear multiple hats (strategy development, project management and execution) to do it what it takes to “move the needle”

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to members of the Strategy team and analysts in the broader business

Qualifications

Your Experience 

  • 4+ years relevant work experience post-MBA with at least 2 years in management consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, etc.), private equity or top-tier tech strategy or “bizops” functions (Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc.)

  • MBA graduate from a top-tier B- school or similar academic credentials or “direct promote” in Consulting or equivalent military experience required 

  • Expertise in the Enterprise technology industry is a must, knowledge of cybersecurity industry is a plus but not required

  • Experience with Enterprise Technology GTM

  • Experience in building relationships and leading through influence

  • Experience managing projects and large-scale transformations

  • Effective verbal and written communication ability and comfort with both business and technical discussions with senior audiences

  • Great teammate, willing to passionately roll up their sleeves and work cross-functionally to get things done

  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with minimal supervision
