Lead Java Developer

Kforce is seeking a hybrid Java Lead to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This role involves serving as a primary technical point of contact for external technology resources, providing design input across a product, working directly with customers and end users, and serving as an acknowledged 'go-to' person on coding and technical issues. Responsibilities also include interfacing with other technical personnel, writing and reviewing detailed specifications, completing complex bug fixes, designing and working with complex data models, and mentoring lead software developers on development methodologies and optimization techniques.

Must Have

• 10+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Software development process expert in applicable methodologies
• Strong command on object-oriented design, design patterns
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Deep expertise in one or more backend languages such as Java, C#
• Strong command of associated frameworks
• Strong grasp of TypeScript for building scalable, type-safe applications using Angular framework
• Expertise in multiple DBMS data modeling, design and manipulation, optimization, best practices, tuning and leading industry trend knowledge
• Expertise in normalized/dimensional data modeling principles and their application to complex business needs
• Expertise in industry technology language development trends
• Ability to partner and lead internal and external technology resources in solving complex business needs
• Experience designing reusable components, following SOLID principles and atomic design methodology
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong commitment to code quality, documentation, and testing
• Experience with containerization and orchestrations tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
• 10+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Software development process expert in applicable methodologies
• Strong command on object-oriented design, design patterns
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills; Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Deep expertise in one or more backend languages such as Java, C#, etc.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
