Salesforce is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Developer to drive digital transformation and platform strategy. This role involves delivering solutions impacting revenue operations and customer experience, including pioneering AI-driven automation. Joining the DET Salesforce on Salesforce Technology team, you'll build cutting-edge solutions using Agentforce and AI agents, influencing product development across various operations. The Senior Salesforce Developer will enhance operational efficiency, user experience, and support digital transformation by delivering scalable solutions, optimizing system performance, and guiding architectural decisions, including AI-driven design. This role also involves mentoring and elevating technical standards.
Must Have
- Design and implement sophisticated integration patterns between Salesforce and critical business systems.
- Build high-performance Salesforce solutions using advanced Apex, Lightning Web Components, and JavaScript.
- Develop complex automation solutions leveraging Platform Events, Flow, and AI-driven processes.
- Optimize system performance and scalability for enterprise workloads.
- Design and implement comprehensive test automation frameworks (Apex unit tests, Selenium, API testing).
- Collaborate with Product Management, Solution Architecture, and business stakeholders.
- Champion platform governance, security standards, and scalability patterns.
- Drive adoption of engineering best practices, including automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers.
- Ensure production stability through proactive monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis.
- 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript SOQL/SOSL, and modern web technologies.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, security frameworks, and platform limits.
- Experience in designing scalable & efficient systems/applications for complex enterprise environments.
- Proven experience with enterprise integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, ETL, real-time data sync) and middleware platforms.
- Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
- Extensive experience with DevOps practices: Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks.
- Strong expertise in test automation frameworks, including Apex unit testing, Selenium WebDriver, and API testing tools.
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience, including mentoring developers and leading architectural discussions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to debug complex, multi-system issues.
- Outstanding communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated expertise in identifying root causes and resolving production incidents, performance bottlenecks, and system integration failures.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in enterprise environments.
- A related technical degree required.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud with experience in at least one additional Salesforce Cloud.
Good to Have
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification or Salesforce Architect certifications.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP), Agentforce, Einstein Analytics, or AI/ML integrations.

You'll be joining the DET Salesforce on Salesforce Technology team, a strategic pillar within Salesforce's Digital Enterprise Technology organization. As part of Salesforce's "Customer Zero" initiative, our team develops and deploys enterprise-scale solutions that power the company's global sales operations, customer success processes, and revenue operations while serving as the primary validation ground for emerging technologies. This role offers the unique opportunity to build cutting-edge solutions using Agentforce, AI agents, and next-generation platform capabilities while directly impacting thousands of internal users and influencing product development across Sales & Partner Operations, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and major M&A integrations. Responsibilities:
- Design and implement sophisticated integration patterns between Salesforce and critical business systems
- Build high-performance Salesforce solutions using advanced Apex patterns, Lightning Web Components, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Develop complex automation solutions leveraging Platform Events, Flow orchestration, and AI-driven processes including Agentforce and Data Cloud capabilities
- Optimize system performance and scalability for enterprise workloads, including governor limit optimization and bulk data processing
- Design and implement comprehensive test automation frameworks using Apex unit tests, Selenium, and API testing tools to ensure high code coverage and system reliability
- Collaborate with Product Management, Solution Architecture, and business stakeholders to translate strategic initiatives into technical roadmaps
- Champion platform governance, security standards, and scalability patterns across the organization
- Drive adoption of engineering best practices, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality standards
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering technical growth across the organization
- Ensure production stability through proactive monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery planning
- Research and implement cutting-edge Salesforce technologies and establish technical documentation and knowledge-sharing practices
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with demonstrated expertise in complex, enterprise-scale implementations
- Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript SOQL/SOSL, and modern web technologies
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, including multi-org strategies, data modeling, security frameworks, and platform limits
- Experience in designing scalable & efficient systems/applications for complex enterprise environments
- Proven experience with enterprise integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, ETL, real-time data sync) and middleware platforms
