Job Summary
We are seeking a senior-level Cloud Solutions Engineer (Level 3) to lead advanced Microsoft 365 and cloud initiatives, handle complex escalations, and implement solutions directly with MSP clients. This is a technical, customer-facing role requiring strong technical depth, independence, and the ability to adapt to unfamiliar environments. Key responsibilities include advanced cloud and escalation support, end-to-end Microsoft 365 architecture, deployment, optimization, and support, including migrations and expert administration of various Microsoft services. The role also involves third-party application integration, project leadership, optimization, and automation.
Must Have
- Handle advanced and expert-level escalations related to cloud infrastructure and SaaS services.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for Microsoft 365 and cloud-related issues.
- Architect, deploy, optimize, and support Microsoft 365 environments end-to-end.
- Perform and lead tenant-to-tenant migrations (email, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams data).
- Execute server-to-cloud migrations (e.g., file servers to SharePoint or OneDrive).
- Expert-level administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender, and Purview.
- Implement and maintain Microsoft 365 security best practices across client tenants.
- Work with third-party software applications that integrate with Microsoft 365.
- Lead cloud migration and optimization projects for MSP clients.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud solutions in an MSP or multi-tenant environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, Defender, and Purview.
- Strong experience with tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migrations, server-to-cloud migrations, and email/data migrations.
- Required experience with PowerShell for administration and automation.
- Proven experience working in MSP environments.
- Excellent native-level English communication skills, both written and verbal.

This is a technical, customer-facing role — while not sales-focused, you will regularly work directly with customers to design and implement the solutions required to meet their business and technical needs.
This role requires strong technical depth, independence, and the ability to step into unfamiliar environments and software ecosystems with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Cloud & Escalation Support
- Handle advanced and expert-level escalations related to cloud infrastructure and SaaS services.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for Microsoft 365 and cloud-related issues across multiple MSP environments.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term remediation for complex or recurring issues.
- Work directly with MSP clients and end customers to execute solutions and improvements.
Microsoft 365 (Core Focus Area)
- Architect, deploy, optimize, and support Microsoft 365 environments end-to-end, including:
- Exchange Online (mail flow, security, migrations, troubleshooting)
- SharePoint Online and OneDrive (architecture, permissions, governance, performance, migrations)
- Microsoft Teams (policies, governance, troubleshooting)
- Perform and lead tenant-to-tenant migrations, including email, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams data.
- Execute server-to-cloud migrations, such as file servers to SharePoint or OneDrive.
- Expert-level administration and troubleshooting of:
- Microsoft Intune (endpoint management, compliance policies, configuration profiles, application deployment, Autopilot)
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) including identity lifecycle, SSO, MFA, and hybrid identity
- Conditional Access policy design and enforcement
- Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Office 365, Identity)
- Microsoft Purview (data governance, retention, compliance, DLP)
- Implement and maintain Microsoft 365 security best practices across client tenants.
- Assist MSPs with tenant configuration, licensing strategy, and feature utilization.
Third-Party Application Integration
- Work with third-party software applications that integrate with Microsoft 365 (email, identity, security, document management, line-of-business platforms).
- Support applications you may not have prior experience with, requiring:
- Willingness to learn new platforms quickly
- Ability to understand how third-party systems interact with Microsoft 365
- Troubleshooting authentication, permissions, data flow, and integration issues
- Collaborate with vendors and MSPs to ensure proper configuration and supportability.
Projects, Optimization & Automation
- Lead cloud migration and optimization projects for MSP clients.
- Optimize Microsoft 365 environments for security, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and related administrative tasks.
- Recommend improvements, standards, and long-term strategies to MSP partners.
- Stay current on Microsoft 365 feature changes and emerging cloud technologies.
Availability & Support Expectations
- Standard working hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST.
- Some flexibility is required for high-impact client issues, critical changes, or migrations outside normal hours.
- This role is not on-call, but responsiveness during critical events is expected.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud solutions in an MSP or multi-tenant environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in:
- Microsoft 365 (all major workloads and admin portals)
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Conditional Access and MFA
- Microsoft Defender and Purview
- Strong experience with:
- Tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migrations
- Server-to-cloud migrations (e.g., file servers to SharePoint/OneDrive)
- Email and data migrations
- Required experience with PowerShell for administration and automation.
- Experience with Google Workspace and cross-platform migrations.
- Expert-level understanding of SaaS security and cloud cost optimization.
- General knowledge of infrastructure and networking concepts.
- Proven experience working in MSP environments (required).
- Excellent native-level English communication skills, both written and verbal.
