Senior VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Automation Consultant

We are seeking a Senior VCF Automation Consultant with a strong focus on hands-on automation implementation and day-to-day operations. This role will be responsible for designing, configuring, and operating VMware Aria Automation solutions to support scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure and application delivery. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals skilled in automation within a remote, Eastern timezone setting. The project duration is estimated to span between 10 and 26 weeks, providing a flexible engagement for experienced candidates.

Must Have

• Configure, deploy, and operate VMware Aria Automation (vRA) within a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environment
• Design and build service catalogs, workflows, blueprints, and automation pipelines
• Implement governance, approval policies, and lifecycle management controls
• Integrate Aria Automation with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Integrate automation workflows with CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and operations teams to optimize automation processes
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing automation solutions
• Proven hands-on experience with VMware Aria Automation / vRealize Automation (vRA)
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, Terraform
• Experience designing and implementing infrastructure automation in enterprise environments
• Solid understanding of virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and operational best practices

• VMware Certified Professional – Cloud Management and Automation (VCP-CMA) certification
• Experience working in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments
