We are seeking a QA Engineer to join a leading gaming company's dynamic team. This remote contract position, lasting 27 to 52 weeks, focuses on ensuring high-quality experiences within a competitive popular game environment. The role involves defining quality strategies, collaborating with developers, developing test plans, managing defects, and communicating progress to stakeholders. Must Have

• Collaborate with leadership to define and implement quality strategies.
• Partner with developers and producers to understand features and evaluate risks.
• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Manage the defect tracking system.
• Communicate testing progress, coverage, and risk assessments.
• At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance or related fields.
• Proven experience testing service-based or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with testing web interfaces or user interface-intensive applications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to develop test plans, monitor testing progress, and troubleshoot defects across complex systems.

• Communicate testing progress, coverage, and risk assessments clearly to project stakeholders.

QA Engineer Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance or related fields.
• Proven experience testing service-based or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with testing web interfaces or user interface-intensive applications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to develop test plans, monitor testing progress, and troubleshoot defects across complex systems.

Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
