Scopely is looking for a Lead Product Manager, Game Economy to join our Monopoly GO! game team remotely within the US or Canada, ideally in the Central or Eastern time zone.

Monopoly GO! is our new casual game and a key franchise that has just become Scopely’s largest game, enjoyed by millions of players. The team is based in Europe and the US, and works every day to create captivating new experiences for our players.
What You Will Do
This role extends beyond traditional monetization efforts and focuses on driving player engagement, retention, and promoting social interactions within the game's ecosystem. Your strategic expertise and detailed execution will be vital in not only growing revenue but also encouraging strong player relationships and a dynamic community. You Will:
- Architect and evolve Monopoly GO!’s economy to establish a balanced and enduring framework, ensuring 'Monopoly GO!' remains a timeless title
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game designers, developers, analytics, and marketing to align the game economy with overall product goals
- Craft and be responsible for the economic framework for our products, including currency systems, pricing strategies, inflation control, and reward mechanisms
- Design and implement sophisticated economic models to predict player behavior and advise strategic decisions, driving the product's long-term success
- Apply data analytics to gain insights into player behaviors, guiding strategic adjustments that boost retention, improve social interactions, and enhance monetization
- Forecast the impact of economic changes, employing A/B testing and other analytical methods to validate strategies and optimize outcomes
- Communicate economic concepts and strategies efficiently to partners at all levels, including presentations to senior management
- Lead and mentor other economy team members, promoting a culture of creativity, analytical thinking, and alignment with game development goals
What We’re Looking For
- Exemplified experience as a Product Manager responsible for free-to-play game economies with solid understanding of player motivations and market dynamics
- Excellent proficiency in spreadsheets, data visualization, and crafting compelling presentations that simplify sophisticated concepts
- Equivalent experience in Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related analytical field will be considered
- Demonstrated cross-collaboration skills, working effectively with Product, Design, and LiveOps teams
- Outstanding skills in SQL, R, Python, and/or other analytics and modeling platform
