Job Description

The Learning and Development Specialist focuses on New Hire Training and job-specific training for operations. This role involves learning and implementing process flows to build skills, upskill employees, and drive performance metrics aligned with organizational goals. Key duties include coordinating training, designing and developing course materials, delivering various training sessions, and evaluating training effectiveness through feedback analysis and recruitment rounds.
Must have:
  • Manages and coordinates training enrolments.
  • Designs course materials as per training/event requirements.
  • Develops modules and course material based on the designs.
  • Creates and adapts curriculum for a variety of audiences and learning delivery methods.
  • Delivers New Hire Training - QA.
  • Delivers Refresher Training.
  • Delivers basic and intermediate modules for developmental training.
  • Completes L&D rounds during recruitment.
  • Analyse training feedback (L1, L2, L3) and create reports.
  • Advanced Level discourse and comprehension – Written and Verbal.
  • Basic Excel skills, VLOOKUP, h lookup, and PowerPoint presentation.
  • Classroom management.
  • Coordination.
  • Adult Learning Principle.
  • Experiential learning.
  • Learning objective management.

Job purpose

The Learning and Development specialist will focus on New Hire Training and job-specific training as needed by the operations team. Learn and implement the process flow to ensure building skills, upskilling, and driving performance metrics aligned with the organization's goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1) Co-ordination:

  • Manages and coordinates training enrolments.
  • Design, prepare, and order educational aids and materials as and when required.
  • Acting as the SME within the business for anyone with questions or queries regarding New Hire Training and development plans.
  • Develops and maintains organizational communications such as bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
  • Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session.

2) Content Design and Development:

  • Coordinate with the Content team to
  • Designs course materials as per training/event requirements.
  • Develops modules and course material based on the designs.
  • Creates and adapts curriculum for a variety of audiences and learning delivery methods.
  • Develops complementary training materials that enhance learning options, including participant and leader guides, manuals, reference cards, and certifications.
  • Modifies programs as and when required.
  • Ensures available content meets the process standards.

3) Delivery:

  • Delivers New Hire Training - QA.
  • Delivers Refresher Training.
  • Delivers basic and intermediate modules for developmental training as assigned by the lead/manager.

4) Evaluation:

  • During recruitment, completes L&D rounds as per the process.
  • Analyse training feedback (L1, L2, L3) and create reports.

Requirements

Education:

The Learning and Development Specialist needs to have a bachelor’s degree, preferably. In the absence of a Degree needs to hold at least 2 years of work experience as a voice coach or a trainer. Should have relevant certification in training/linguistic/coaching domains

Experience:

Minimum of 1-3 years overall experience with 6 months as a voice coach or trainer.
