Job Description

The Library Services Specialist will support project execution, working with archival object collections, handling, and cleaning them delicately. The role involves cataloging and creating metadata at the item level for objects per customer specifications into a database. This is a 6-month full-time contract position. Responsibilities include working with the customer's archival object collection, delicate handling and cleaning of such archival objects, and cataloging/creating metadata. The position requires a performance mindset and strong customer relationship experience.
Must have:
  • High School degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours daily
  • Must be able to Handle delicate materials with care as directed
  • Must have an awareness of the cultural significance of documents
Good to have:
  • Experience and Library knowledge is a plus

Library Services Specialist, 6 months contract, FT, 20$/hour

We are looking for project specialist to support the project execution in Laramie, Wyoming. This role is ideal for someone who has strong operational background with a performance mindset and solid customer relationship experience. This is an exciting and unique role that supports emerging business areas and new forms of project revenue for Iron Mountain.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Working with the customer’s archival object collection
● Delicate handling and cleaning of such archival objects.
● Catalog and/or create metadata at the item level for objects per customer’s
specifications into a database

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School degree

  • Experience and Library knowledge is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours daily

  • Must be able to Handle delicate materials with care as directed

  • Must have an awareness of the cultural significance of documents and the importance of respectful handling and representation

Reasonably expected salary range: $35,900.00 - $44,900.00
