Job Description

Our Hourly Line Cooks are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional dining experience to each and every guest. They are responsible for adhering to health and safety guidelines, managing food stock levels, and preparing meals consistent with company standards. This role requires working in an energetic, fast-paced, and social atmosphere, with flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Must have:
  • Daily set-up and preparation of food items in the pantry, fry and/or stations or other areas of the kitchen.
  • Following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as instructed.
  • Restocking all items throughout the shift.
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
  • Adhering to all regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials and fire safety.
  • Performing additional responsibilities as requested by the chef or sous chef.
Good to have:
  • A professional diploma or food services management is an asset but not required

Our Hourly Line Cooks are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional dining experience to each and every guest. Hourly Line Cooks have a range of responsibilities in the kitchen including strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, maintaining food stock levels throughout the day, and preparing meals consistent with company standards. In this role, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Daily set-up and preparation of food items in the pantry, fry and/or stations or other areas of the kitchen.
  • Following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as instructed.
  • Restocking all items throughout the shift.

Qualifications:

This role may be a perfect fit for you if:

  • You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • You have experience in a similar environment.
  • You have knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation and principles of safe food handling.
  • You have schedule flexibility to work extended hours as required.
  • A professional diploma or food services management is an asset but not required.
