Job Description
IPS, part of the Culina Group, is hiring a full-time Line Leader for their Featherstone site. This role involves overseeing production line operations, ensuring efficient resource utilization, maintaining product traceability, and motivating a team to meet targets. The Line Leader will also be responsible for quality control, adherence to health and safety regulations, accurate record-keeping, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Must Have:
- Maximise utilisation of production line resources
- Report and communicate all issues affecting Production effectively
- Maintain traceability of finished products and donor stocks
- Motivate a team to meet production targets
- Ensure final product meets client specifications (SPI)
- Maximise production efficiency to meet hourly/daily plans
- Adhere to and promote best practice in health, safety, and quality regulations
- Complete all paperwork and systems accurately
- Assist in developing a skills matrix for production workers
- Assist in training and development of new starters
- Monitor, control and minimise waste

We are now currently recruiting for Line Operatives on a Full Time and Permanent position at our IPS Featherstone site.
Shifts: Monday-Friday rotation shift.
Salary: £14.30 per hour.
Job Description
- Ensuring that that the Production Line under their charge maximises the utilisation of the following 3 main resources of the business.
- Reporting and communicating all issues affecting Production effectively.
- Ensuring that all finished products and donor stocks always maintain their traceability and in accordance with the Culina IPS Production and Quality Procedures
- Effectively motivating a team of people to meet production targets.
- Ensuring the final product meets client specifications (SPI)
- Effectively maximising production efficiency, to ensure plans are met on a hourly/daily basis
- Adhering to and promoting best practice in accordance with company health, safety, and quality regulations
- Ensuring all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.
- Assisting in developing a skills matrix for all production workers
- Assisting in training and development of new starters
- Monitoring, controlling and minimising waste.
Qualifications
- Experience within a Production Environment is preferred.
- Ability to communicate in a positive and clear manner.
- Knowledge of company procedures and actively demonstrates compliance.
- Able to positively lead a team of people (temporary labour)
- Recognises and promotes the importance of continuous improvement.
- Displays a positive attitude to change
- Develops best practice and drives continuous improvement in all aspects of performance.
- Experience of working in a customer-led environment with changing priorities
- Experience of manufacturing machinery and processes
- Preferably food or packing experience
