Macmillan Education Eswatini seeks to appoint a Distribution Manager to join their Operations team in Eswatini. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient, secure, and cost-effective management of the company’s warehouse, distribution, and customer service operations. This includes overseeing receipt, storage, replenishment, and dispatch of textbooks and related materials, coordinating logistics across borders, maintaining accurate inventory and performance data, and driving service excellence through effective team leadership and process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ management experience in warehousing, operations
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, and cross-border coordination

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials
- Manage stock control, cycle counts, inventory discrepancies, and year-end stock takes
- Coordinate logistics across borders and manage transporter relations
- Drive process improvements, operational compliance, and health & safety standards
- Supervise and develop a team of warehouse staff, including 6 Supervisors and an Operations Analyst
- Liaise with internal departments, external stakeholders, booksellers, and government offices
- Manage dispatch processes, customer service queries, invoicing, and credit note controls
- Monitor KPIs, generate operational reports, and provide management insights
- Lead MENP project distribution, including requisitions, orders, and regional deliveries
