medbee is a rapidly growing knowledge app exclusively for doctors, providing concise and everyday relevant information at the point of care. Since 2022, medbee has been part of the renowned Springer Medizin Verlag. The Content Editor will be responsible for summarizing guidelines and studies, creating articles, preparing reports, and ensuring content quality and compliance. This part-time, hybrid role in Vienna requires a medical or scientific background and experience in medical content management.
Must Have
- Completed studies in a medical or scientific field
- Experience in medical content or knowledge management
- Summarizing guidelines and/or studies for the app
- Creating overview articles
- Ensuring quality, evidence, and topicality of content
- Adhering to regulatory and legal compliance
- Ability to work independently and in a team

About the position
medbee is a fast-growing knowledge app exclusively for doctors, providing concise and everyday relevant information at the point of care. Since 2022, medbee has been part of the renowned Springer Medizin Verlag. Our clients are companies from the pharmaceutical industry and medical technology, for whom medbee offers an exclusive digital channel to their target group of doctors. We are looking for a Content Editor (f/m/d) for immediate entry. The position is offered in our office in Vienna, with a hybrid working model, part-time and permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Practically relevant summarization of guidelines and/or studies (card formats for the app)
- Creation of overview articles
- Congress summaries/reports from symposia
- Preparation of promotional materials
- Ensuring quality, evidence and topicality of content
- Close cooperation with the entire medbee team as well as coordination with the editorial management and project management
- Adherence to regulatory and legal compliance (e.g. AMG/HWG).
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
- Completed studies in a medical or scientific field
- Experience in medical content or knowledge management
- Understanding of digital content formats
- Knowledge of the legal framework for medical communication.
- High degree of self-motivation and independence
- Teamwork (Content Lead and Content Manager)
- Summarizing complex content
- Reliability and precise work
- Experience with creating digital formats (e.g. Adobe InDesign)
