AUMOVIO, part of Continental’s Automotive group, is seeking a part-time Local IT Intern for Computer Migration and Support. This role involves providing 1st level user support, including operating system loading, software installation, and hardware configuration. The intern will also assist users with domain migration processes. Candidates should be current students of System Engineering or IT, with basic English, IT knowledge in hardware, OS, software troubleshooting, networks, and data analysis, along with strong customer support and problem-solving skills.
Must have:
  • Provide 1st level user support
  • Perform operating system loading
  • Install basic software
  • Configure docking stations
  • Install drivers (BIOS, network)
  • Send special software to Portal Manager
  • Download and install system patches
  • Help with information backup in special cases
  • Register in control inventories
  • Label computer equipment removed from inventory
  • Run weekly scrap process for replaced hardware
  • Guide users before and after computer replacement
  • Notify and follow-up with each user
  • Send e-sign for assignment and proof of delivery of superseded/obsolete equipment
  • Manage purchases of replacement computer equipment
  • Classify teams by internal project
  • Help users during and after domain migration
  • Current student of System Engineering or Information Technology
  • Expected graduation no earlier than one year from now
  • Basic English proficiency

Project: Computer Domain migration and 1st level user support

1st level support:

  • Operating system loading,
  • Basic software installation
  • Configuration of docking station
  • Install drivers (BIOS, network, …..)
  • Sending of special software to Portal Manager
  • Download and installation of system patches
  • In special cases help with information backup
  • Registration in control inventories
  • Label computer equipment removed from inventory.
  • Run the scrap process weekly for the hardware replaced
  • Guide the user before and after the replacement
  • Notification and follow-up to each user
  • Sending of esign for assignment and proof of delivery of computer equipment superseded and obsolete.
  • Management of purchases of replacement computer equipment, from approvals, ticket generation, billing review and registration.
  • Classification of teams by internal project

Domain Migration:

Help users during and after their domain migration process

Qualifications

  • Study Background: Current student of System Engineering or regarding Information Technology
  • Expected graduation no earlier than one year from now
  • Language: English (Basic Level)
  • IT Know How:
  • Hardware: Identify hardware components and devices as well as understand their uses and connection
  • Operating Systems: Know the windows OS installations and support
  • Software troubleshooting: Kwon ho to troubleshoot computer and mobile devices
  • Networks: Know the different types of networks and LAN and WAN connections
  • Data Analysis: Knowledge of Data Analysis through interactive interfaces, reports and dashboards
  • Other Skills:
