ARHS Group, part of Accenture, is seeking a Lowcode Engineer for a client in the Belgian Health Insurance sector in Brussels. The role involves contributing to the design and development of projects supporting volunteer operations, working in an Agile environment. Responsibilities include implementing requirements, developing new Outsystems apps, refactoring existing programs, communicating with stakeholders, testing code, proposing technical improvements, and supporting other developers.
Must have:
- Contribute to the design and development of projects that support the operations of volunteers within the company.
- Work in an Agile approach, implementing requirements (Epics, User Stories).
- Develop new Outsystems (front-end and back-end) applications.
- Refactor existing programs and ensure code is tested.
- Communicate efficiently with business, functional analysts, and solution architects.
- Make technical improvement proposals and defend them within the team.
- Support analyst/tester with functional tests and analyze system integrations.
- Work out technical designs based on functional analysis.
- Support other developers and document software thoroughly.
- Thorough knowledge of LowCode and Outsystems platform (minimum 4 years of experience).
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and SQL.
- Experience with Scrum as an Agile methodology.
- Dutch/French speaking with good knowledge of English.
- Critical, analytical, synthesis skills, able to work independently and in a team.
- Sense of quality, accuracy, no-nonsense mentality, stress-resistant, result-oriented, proactive, dynamic.
Good to have:
- Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence.

Context
- Contributing to the design and development of projects that support the operations of volunteers within the company
- Working in an Agile approach
Role & responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing the requirements (Epics, User Stories, ...)
- Working closely with the business, and analyst/testers so that the functionalities are delivered correctly. The scrum methodology is used to develop the solution.
- Contributing to the development and enhancement of key projects and functionalities.
- Developing new Outsystems (front-end and back-end) apps.
- Refactoring of existing programs
- Communicating efficiently with the various stakeholders (business/functional analysts, solution architect) so that they perfectly understand the priorities of the tasks.
- Making sure your code has been tested.
- Making technical improvement proposals and defending them within the team
- Supporting the analyst/tester with the functional tests.
- Analyzing integrations with other parties and systems.
- Working out the technical design based on a functional analysis.
- Working together with developers from the team to install the applications and monitoring their operation.
- Supporting other developers in their development.
- Documenting your software thoroughly, without getting bogged down in details.
Qualifications
Your profile
- Dutch/French speaking, good knowledge of English is a must
- Critical and have good analytical and synthesis skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Sense of quality, accuracy and have a no-nonsense mentality
- Stress-resistant
- Result-oriented, proactive, dynamic, ...
Technical skills
- Thorough knowledge of LowCode and more specifically of the Outsystems platform (minimum 4 years of experience)
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Scrum as an Agile methodology
- Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence would be considered an asset
