Maintenance Engineer - Multi Skilled

0600-1400 and 1400-2200, rotating weekly.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join Rolls Royce Denby located in Derbyshire.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on manufacturing assets and all associated production equipment located in production or assembly and test facilities. Rolls Royce Denby has particular expertise in the manufacture of complex geometric ceramic cores used in the investment casting of high performance directionally solidified and single crystal gas turbine engine components both for aerospace and industrial applications. You will provide support to the Manufacturing Services Manager and Manufacturing Services Engineer to ensure the organisation’s objectives and goals are delivered.

What you’ll be doing:
You will carry out reactive, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure that manufacturing equipment is safe, available, and capable for use when required.
Utilise precision diagnostic instruments during maintenance and analyse equipment data to inform and implement the most effective approach towards maintenance.
Collect, organise, and analyse data in support of Key Performance Indicators.
Read and interpret machinery and component drawings, circuit/logic diagrams & schematics, maintenance manuals, and parts catalogues to enable maintenance and diagnostics.
Continuous improvement of equipment, maintenance procedures, work instruction to optimise the electrical installation / maintenance strategy.
Coordinate, communicate and interface preventive and planned corrective maintenance activities with Production Staff, regularly communicating and interfacing with Production Leaders, Team Leaders, and Production Operators.
Asset maintenance activities to ensure that equipment and facilities are safe and reliable to a high-performance standard.
Support the effective induction of new team members and support cross-training of other team members.

Completed advanced level apprenticeship in an engineering discipline - required (to support your application, please attach a photo copy of your apprenticeship certificate the next to your CV).
NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic pneumatics principles and operation.
Experience working in a multi-skilled role and a desire to develop and improve your skills.
Proficient IT Literacy
Up-to-date working knowledge of health, safety (including COSHH) and environmental procedures is required.
