Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual for the role as Manufacturing Engineering Manager (f/m/d) within the Assembly & Test area at our Dahlewitz site (near Berlin). In this role, you will act as the technical authority of the assembly line for business aviation engines. You will support both the delivery of the production program and the introduction of new engine products, while also driving continuous improvement in our assembly lines. A strong background in the aviation industry and manufacturing is expected.

Must Have

  • Lead and integrate all Manufacturing Engineering activity within OEM business at Dahlewitz.
  • Manage deployment of Manufacturing Engineering Processes, Standards, Guidance, Tools & Methods.
  • Lead deployment of best-in-class Advanced Manufacturing processes, methods, technologies and systems.
  • Act as Technical Authority for the assembly of Business Aviation engines.
  • Perform Load/Capacity planning and recruitment of new team members.
  • Ensure professional development of the Manufacturing Engineering team.
  • Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.
  • Deep knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering processes and hands-on experience in a production environment.
  • Good understanding of assembly and manufacturing processes relevant to the business.
  • Good understanding of Manufacturing Systems (Teamcenter, MES, Process Planning, etc.).
  • Experience with process improvement and project management methodologies.
  • Experience in Six Sigma and Lean Tools.
  • Strong collaboration, people development, and team leadership skills.
  • Fluent in both German and English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the deployment of Man Eng Processes, Standards, Guidance, Tools & Methods
  • Lead the deployment of best-in-class Advanced Manufacturing processes, methods, technologies and systems, meeting the requirements of product and business in terms of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery Rate & Leadtime (SQCD)
  • Act as the Technical Authority for the assembly of Business Aviation engines
  • Load/Capacity planning and recruitment of new team members
  • Ensure professional development of the Manufacturing Engineering team

Your Profile:

  • Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
  • Deep knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering processes and hands-on experience in a production environment
