Position summary
Taking responsibility for the delivery of required projects or work streams assigned.
What you will be doing:
- Accountable for the successful delivery to cost, specification and time for a defined package of work.
- Establish, develop and maintain the documentation necessary to deliver the package of work.
- Act as the focal point for all aspects related to the packages of work.
- Provide information necessary to make management decisions to the key stakeholders.
- Ensure the creation and management of an integrated set of plans / schedules.
- Organize and chair schedule review meetings and report areas where executive decisions need to be made.
- Ensure the implementation of company management processes is effective and efficient.
- Develop / implement Project Management best practice in line with company management processes.
- Provision of basic guidance to others regarding the Project Management processes and the operation of the project management systems / tools / methods.
- Contribution to the local Project Management Community of Practice.
Position qualifications:
- Proficient Chinese and English, and understand Chinese culture to best cooperate with Chinese suppliers (some cannot speak English well).
- Bachelor degree (or plus) level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience, like forging and machining, etc. RR design/manufacturing engineering practice and experience highly preferred.
- Able to work in an Integrated Project Team environment, experience of leading multi-function teams.
- Deep understanding of RR functions/processes highly preferred.
- Member of a professional body and working towards a APMPQ qualification or equivalent. Or at least have a good understanding of cross functional integrated working.
- At least 5 years’ experience in project management.
