Make-Up Artist

Univision is seeking an experienced, part-time, makeup artist to work for the news department. The job responsibilities include television makeup and hairstyle for news anchors for daily shows. The makeup artist must have professional skills and have knowledge of the latest trends in fashion and beauty. Artists need to work under the changing environment of the newsroom and adapt to schedule changes and be flexible with schedule including working early mornings, weekends and holidays. Makeup artists also need to work on looks for network campaigns or special shows.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

• Apply makeup for news anchors and in-house guests
• Style hair
• Work with clients to create various looks
• Apply touchups as necessary
• Work on live productions and other shows as needed
• Must adapt to schedule changes and be flexible working early mornings, weekends and holidays

YOU HAVE:

• Experience in the beauty and or media industry.
• Attention to detail
• Creative mindset
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work fast and accurate under pressure
• Must be willing to work from office in Miami, FL
• Employment/education will be verified
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
