Job Description

The Management Development Program (MDP) is a comprehensive, year-long, on-property experience designed to prepare the next generation of hospitality leaders. It follows an 80/20 model with hands-on training and professional development, divided into two phases: mastering service and departmental knowledge, and leadership and management essentials. Participants choose a specialized path like Culinary, and upon successful completion, are considered for Assistant Manager roles within Auberge Collection.
Must have:
  • Current student or recent graduate of accredited hospitality management program
  • Proven willingness to learn, coupled with curiosity, resilience, and self-motivation
  • Ability to demonstrate an elevated level of professionalism, leadership skills, and passion for hotel operations
  • Previous Culinary Experience
  • Demonstrated passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Keen interest in leadership and career advancement
  • Dedication to long-term growth and commitment to ongoing development

The Management Development Program (MDP) is a comprehensive, year-long, on-property experience designed to prepare the next generation of hospitality leaders. Our Management Development Program is designed for passionate, curious, and driven individuals ready to turn their talent into leadership. Over the course of one transformative year, you'll gain the skills, confidence, and insight needed to become a future leader in the world of luxury hospitality.

Program Structure:

The MDP is built around a 80/20 model:

  • 80% Hands-On Experience: Rotational, real-world training within your chosen department.
  • 20% Professional Development: Structured learning sessions focused on management, leadership, and essential soft skills.

The program is divided into two progressive phases:

  • Phase 1: Mastering Service & Departmental Knowledge : Gain in-depth knowledge of day-to-day operations within your focus area.
  • Phase 2: Leadership & Management Essentials: Develop core competencies in people management, communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.

Program Tracks:

Participants choose a specialized path based on their career interests:

  • Food & Beverage
  • Culinary
  • Rooms Division

Successful candidates would be asked to select your preferred track and property location during the recruitment process.

Career Progression:

Upon successful completion of the program and based on performance, availability, and willingness to relocate, graduates will be considered for placement in an Assistant Manager level role within the Auberge Collection.
