Manager-Digital Product Management

American Express is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Manager to lead product development for their Token Services platform in India. This role involves driving the delivery of localized token capabilities to meet RBI regulatory requirements and enable secure, scalable payment experiences. Key responsibilities include product development, agile execution as a product owner, ensuring regulatory compliance, and engaging with global and India-based stakeholders to align on roadmap and delivery milestones. The role also contributes to strategic planning and innovation for India token services.

Must Have

• Lead end-to-end development of token capabilities for India's regulatory landscape
• Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and features for scrum teams
• Serve as product owner for scrum teams, managing backlogs, sprint planning, and feature prioritization
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams for timely and high-quality delivery of token services
• Interface with internal risk, legal, and compliance teams to interpret and implement RBI directives
• Ensure all token services meet PCI DSS and RBI circular requirements
• Partner with global product leads, platform architects, and India-based operations teams
• Represent Token Services in cross-functional forums and regulatory reviews
• Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development for India token services
• 8+ years of experience in product development, preferably in payments, fintech, or regulated financial services
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience writing user stories and managing scrum teams
• Familiarity with RBI regulations, data localization frameworks, and tokenization technologies
