Job Description

Cyberark is seeking a Manager of Sales Development to drive the next phase of growth. This critical role involves leading the Sales Development Representatives team to achieve new business growth. Reporting to the Director of Sales Development, the manager will collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing leaders. As a hands-on, growth-oriented leader, responsibilities include strategy, inbound and outbound lead management, campaign development, new logo acquisition, coaching, enablement, and performance measurement.
Must have:
  • Lead SDR team to achieve new business growth plan.
  • Report to Director of Sales Development and collaborate with Sales and Marketing leaders.
  • Build a world-class organization spanning strategy, lead management, campaign development, and coaching.
  • Hire, train, and manage SDRs to exceed pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Partner with Marketing for lead follow-up and demand generation feedback.
  • Build trust with Sales leaders and Account Executives.
  • Apply leading-edge methodologies for B2B outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification.
  • Hire and develop SDR talent into professional selling careers.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations for data-driven performance optimization.
  • Establish a culture that inspires achievement and impact.
  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities.
  • Adapt to in-office and hybrid work environments.
  • 3+ years managing Sales/Business Development teams or 5+ years as an Enterprise AE.
  • Experience working with Field Marketing Managers on campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, onboard, and grow high-performing SDR teams.
  • Create repeatable and scalable hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Experience managing a modern sales development technology stack.
  • Ability to inspire and coach Sales Development teams.
  • Ability to coach selling techniques to first-time sellers.
  • Proactive in finding and filling personnel gaps and seeking improvement.
  • Knowledge of best practice B2B tech sales development processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline and forecast accurately.
  • Understanding of the market and CyberArk’s position.

You will report to the Director of Sales Development and work closely with Sales and Marketing leaders. As a hands-on growth-oriented leader, you will build a world-class organization with responsibilities spanning strategy, inbound and outbound lead management, campaign development, closing new logos, coaching and enablement, and performance measurement.

What you need to succeed:

  • Hire, train and manage team of SDRs to help achieve and exceed pipeline and closed won revenue goals
  • Partner with Marketing to align activities with lead follow-up, marketing campaigns, and provide critical feedback for the demand generation engine
  • Build trust and rapport with Sales leaders and field Account Executives
  • Apply leading-edge methodologies and tools for B2B technology outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification
  • Hire and develop talent to fuel a strong pipeline of SDRs into a professional selling career at CyberArk
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to optimize performance using data-driven approach
  • Establish a culture that inspires achievement and impact, while having fun and working together to drive success for our customers, company, and employees
  • Accurately forecast opportunities to sales leadership
  • Adapt to an in-office and hybrid work environment, maintaining productivity and staying visible within the office setting

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in directly managing and leading Sales/Business Development teams or 5+ years of experience as an AE at an Enterprise selling organization
  • Experience working with Field Marketing Managers on campaigns in different regions
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, onboard and grow a high performing sales development team
  • Create a repeatable and scalable hiring and onboarding process; you have written the playbook before, created, and implemented a successful career progression plan
  • Experience managing a modern sales development technology stack including sales engagement platform, coaching/gamification, and other tools
  • Ability to inspire and coach Sales Development teams through leading by example, call shadowing and real time coaching
  • Ability to coach selling techniques to first time sellers, helping throughout the process and creating a repeatable strategy for them to be successful on their own
  • A proactive nature; you have experience moving personnel – finding and filling gaps and are constantly looking for improvement
  • Knowledge of best practice B2B tech sales development processes and technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline & accurately forecast
  • Understanding of the market & CyberArk’s position
  • A smart, bold but humble attitude to work collaboratively with CyberArk team members across the organization

The salary range for this position is $81,000 – $113,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
