Manager, SMB Content Programs - EU (German Speaker)

Job Summary:

The Global B2B Marketing team at PayPal is seeking a highly collaborative and execution-focused Manager of Content Programs to drive customer storytelling and thought leadership initiatives across Europe. This role will lead the development of high-impact content programs—including case studies, testimonials, and executive narratives—that support revenue growth, strengthen our brand, and empower our sales teams to win.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

• Identify issues and recommend best practices for content creation and management within the team.
• Understand merchant needs, strategic goals, and business objectives
• Collaborate with team members to develop compelling narratives and visual assets that engage audiences.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of content initiatives and suggest necessary adjustments.
• Stay informed about industry trends to ensure content strategies remain relevant and effective.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and maintain regular communication with internal teams
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

What You Need to Succeed:

• Content marketing, customer marketing, or editorial experience in a B2B, SaaS, or payments environment.
• Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to translate customer value into persuasive, human-centered content.
• Strong project management skills and experience working cross-functionally in a global or matrixed organization.
• Proficiency in managing content workflows, editorial calendars, and agency/vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms, sales enablement tools (e.g., Highspot, Seismic), and analytics dashboards is a plus.
• Passion for empowering sales and creating content that delivers business impact.
• Fluency in German is mandatory
