The Wolters Kluwer Digital Experience Group is seeking a Manager, Software Automation Testing to lead test automation strategy, framework development, and CI/CD integration. The role involves developing scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright, Javascript/Java, Selenium, Mocha, and Node.js, implementing API test automation, and integrating CI/CD with tools like Bamboo and Bitbucket. The manager will also oversee security, compliance, and accessibility testing, manage test execution, and mentor automation engineers, fostering a quality-first engineering culture.
Must have:
  • Develop scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks using Playwright, Javascript/Java, Selenium, Mocha, and Node.js, CodeceptJS.
  • Implement and maintain API test automation frameworks.
  • Lead the CI/CD test automation integration with Bamboo, Bitbucket, and JFrog.
  • Oversee security, compliance, and accessibility testing, ensuring adherence to WCAG AA, AAA, and Section 508 ADA standards.
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant QE and automation testing experience, minimum of 4 years in leading QE Teams in an Agile environment.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Java/Selenium/JavaScript/TypeScript, Playwright, CodeceptJS, Mocha, and Node.js.
  • Expertise in API automation testing and framework development.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Bamboo, GitHub Copilot, Bitbucket, JFrog), security analysis (Black Duck, SonarQube), and compliance testing.
  • Strong knowledge of accessibility and regulatory compliance standards (WCAG, Section 508 ADA).
  • Proven ability to scale automation frameworks and drive test strategy in enterprise software environments.
  • Experience of Test Management Tools like QTest, Xray with JIRA.

We are seeking a Manager, Software Automation Testing to lead test automation strategy, framework development, and CI/CD integration in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Playwright, CodeceptJS, Mocha, Node.js, along with experience in API testing, compliance testing, and security analysis using modern tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks using Playwright, Javascript/Java, Selenium, Mocha, and Node.js, CodeceptJS
  • Implement and maintain API test automation frameworks, ensuring high coverage and reliability.
  • Lead the CI/CD test automation integration with Bamboo, Bitbucket, and JFrog for continuous testing.
  • Oversee security, compliance, and accessibility testing, ensuring adherence to WCAG AA, AAA, and Section 508 ADA standards.
  • Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing using BrowserStack.
  • Manage test execution, defect tracking, and reporting using QTest, Jira, and Launchpad.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to align testing with the product design system.
  • Mentor and guide automation engineers, fostering a quality-first engineering culture.
  • Provide direction to QE Analysts to successfully plan and execute QE Programs.
  • Participate in program planning and provide technical reviews and provide feedback on Requirements, Design Documents and Specifications, and Project Plans and Initiatives from a Quality Engineering and testing perspective.
  • Direct the day-to-day QE deliverables for the QE projects

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years of relevant QE and automation testing experience, minimum of 4 years in leading QE Teams in an Agile environment
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Strong proficiency in Java/Selenium/JavaScript/TypeScript, Playwright, CodeceptJS, Mocha, and Node.js.
  • Expertise in API automation testing and framework development.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Bamboo, GitHub Copilot, Bitbucket, JFrog), security analysis (Black Duck, SonarQube), and compliance testing
  • Strong knowledge of accessibility and regulatory compliance standards (WCAG, Section 508 ADA)
  • Proven ability to scale automation frameworks and drive test strategy in enterprise software environments
  • Experience of Test Management Tools like QTest, Xray with JIRA
  • Proactive assessment of potential problems that may impact quality deliverables, or schedule.
  • Coordinate with the business stakeholders and align the goals
  • Prominent level of attention to detail, creative problem solving, and capacity to work on a team.
  • Familiarity working with scrum agile method of work Passion for research, problem solving, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
