This position is for a Senior UI Development Manager within a cross-functional full stack implementation team, collaborating with AI engineers on Conversational AI solutions. The role requires a strong technical background in Angular and Node.js, coupled with proven leadership and collaboration abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving UI strategy, ensuring technical excellence, and cultivating a high-performing team environment. This role is part of the Advanced Technology team in the Digital eXperience Group, co-creating state-of-the-art products and solutions with Wolters Kluwer businesses globally.
Must have:
  • Senior UI Development Manager for a cross-functional full stack implementation team
  • Works side-by-side with AI engineers on Conversational AI solutions
  • Strong technical foundation in Angular and Node.js

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable and responsive UI solutions
  • Define and enforce UI architecture standards, coding guidelines, and best practices
  • Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables
  • Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Champion accessibility, usability, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating new tools, frameworks, and technologies
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering continuous learning
  • Facilitate effective communication across teams and stakeholders
  • Lead UI testing strategies including unit, integration, and automated testing
  • Support DevOps practices by integrating UI components into CI/CD pipelines
  • Analyze user feedback and usage data to inform UI enhancements
  • 10+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Expertise in Angular, Node.js, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards
  • Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Good to have:
  • Experience with performance tuning and debugging tools
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools
  • Exposure to design systems and component libraries

The position is for a Senior UI Development Manager for a cross-functional full stack implementation team which works side-by-side with AI engineers on Conversational AI solutions. This role demands a strong technical foundation in Angular and Node.js, along with proven leadership and collaboration skills. The ideal candidate will drive UI strategy, ensure technical excellence, and foster a high-performing team culture.

This role is part of the Advanced Technology team in the Digital eXperience Group (*dxg) which co-creates state-of-the art products and solutions with Wolters Kluwer businesses around the globe. Our growing array of solutions supports the expanding set of Wolters Kluwer’s Expert Solutions and online product portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable and responsive UI solutions across multiple projects.
  • Define and enforce UI architecture standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
  • Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure on-time and high-quality releases.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure maintainability and performance.
  • Champion accessibility, usability, and cross-browser compatibility in all UI implementations.
  • Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Facilitate effective communication across teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
  • Lead UI testing strategies including unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Support DevOps practices by integrating UI components into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze user feedback and usage data to inform UI enhancements and refinements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in Angular, Node.js, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
  • Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance tuning and debugging tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.
