Role Introduction

As Senior Marketing Operations Technology Expert, you will focus on the strategy, implementation and operational efficiency of the company's marketing output. It will be your responsibility to drive best practice and governance across the marketing and sales teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for the optimisation of our marketing operations, from technology implementation to lead management and conversion strategies. Your expertise will drive improvement across lead management processes, marketing data, marketing automation and software tools while tracking performance and offering insights into best practice improvements.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure that the marketing operations strategy evolves in collaboration with Revenue Operations to meet the needs of marketing and sales
  • Identify and implement operational best practices, specifically in Marketing Automation processes across the tech stack
  • Continuously optimise the marketing technology strategy for customer experience and process improvement. Oversee the marketing automation platform and related systems such as predictive scoring solutions, marketing attribution, chatbot, data sources, and more
  • Ensure that value is maximised from technology investments by driving adoption and eliminating redundancy. Lead the marketing, SDR, and AE teams in enablement training sessions as system and process changes occur
  • Build and implement an Account Based Marketing model that includes account engagement tracking, account qualification and routing, and processes for SDRs / AEs to identify and engage with high propensity accounts.
  • Optimise lead and account management methodology to ensure quality leads/ accounts are passed to SDRs/AEs for qualification
  • Define and implement operational rigor and governance in the use of systems to gain efficiencies, simplify end-user experience and ensure compliance
  • Review of current data, information and historical trends to help provide insights into best practices and improvements of data quality
  • Work closely with the Business Development to drive KPI’s, efficiencies and best practice to achieve targets
  • Enhancement of all marketing operations to facilitate full end to end customer lifecycle management - lead generation, nurturing, and customer retention and advocacy
  • Drive marketing operations with the focus on enabling efficient lead scoring, campaign tracking, lead management, database health, targeting, segmentation strategies, and alignment with sales initiatives
  • Partner across the Marketing Leadership Team to ensure data and insights are accurate and support decision-making and reporting requirements
  • Define business analytics and create dashboards and reports to support Sales and Marketing and measure all aspects of the marketing lead generation engine
  • Build knowledge across the marketing team of good practice in marketing operations to drive both effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Work with the Director of Marketing Operations to devise and deliver regular reporting on key metrics for marketing ROI to senior stakeholders, and on campaign and channel effectiveness to marketing colleagues to improve approach.
  • Ensure that GDPR and other data protection policies impacting Marketing are followed


What You Will Have

  • 5-8+ years of experience in a marketing operations role
  • Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM platforms e.g. Marketo, Salesforce, Gong, Qualified
  • Experience in the use of third-party data sources for lead database building and augmentation such as Zoominfo
  • Proven track record of deriving analytical insights across business data and key performance indicators.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing marketing tools ideally across automation, attribution, and lead scoring
  • Comfortable drawing insights and proposed action plans
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation.
