Job Description

The Marketing Specialist - YouTube Ads Marketing & Industry Advocacy will join OLIVER, a Brandtech Group company, to help position YouTube as the leading platform for video budgets and AI solutions in India. This role involves inspiring and educating Google's customers and agencies, managing content strategy for Think with Google, organizing events, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth for top advertisers. The specialist will also project manage external partners.
Must have:
  • Inspire and educate Google’s customers, agencies and the Industry with YouTube’s products and services.
  • Own and manage the Think with Google content strategy, calendar and execution.
  • Manage events (Virtual and In-Person) that bring together advertisers and agencies.
  • Drive alignment with cross-functional stakeholders from sales, Go-to-Market teams, PR, and Marketing teams.
  • Work with external partners to project manage deliverables and outcomes.
  • At least 5+ Years of brand marketing experience.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing, cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent spoken and written English and presentation communication skills.
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI, digital video and new technologies.
  • Ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical.

About the role:

The overarching ambition of the India YouTube Ads Marketing and Industry Advocacy team is to Win Hearts and Minds and become the #1 platform of choice for video budgets & AI-solutions, now and in the future. We do this by creating actionable thought leadership and positioning YouTube as the Future of Video, transcending buying channels and limiting perceptions.

What you will be doing:

  • Inspire and educate Google’s customers, agencies and the Industry with YouTube’s products and services.
  • Own and manage the Think with Google content strategy, calendar and execution working with local content owners and APAC editorial team.
  • Manage events (Virtual and In-Person) that bring together advertisers and agencies to support the growth of top advertisers across our markets
  • Drive alignment with cross-functional stakeholders from sales, Go-to-Market teams, PR as well as collaborating with regional and local Marketing teams.
  • Work with external partners to project manage the deliverables and planned outcomes.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • At least 5+ Years of brand marketing experience with strong project management skills to maintain deliverables, timelines, reporting and measurement metrics
  • Excellent collaboration skills with an ability to join the dots across multiple functions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing, cross-functional environment, while maintaining an entrepreneurial approach
  • Excellent spoken and written English and presentation communication skills.
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI, digital video and new technologies
  • Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
