The position

Star Stable Entertainment is looking for a skilled Video Artist with expertise in 2D animation and motion graphics to join our Marketing team for a 9-month parental leave cover. As a Video Artist you will ideate and create story-driven video ads and content with a focus on driving new users into the game (user acquisition). You’ll work with artists in our creative marketing team, and collaborate with our UA specialists and game teams.

Responsibilities

• Ability to handle the full creation process from concept and layout to animation, sound design, rendering, and video editing.

• Ensure content fits specs and best practices for a variety of platforms.

• Use our extensive library of game assets and animations to build compelling video ads for user acquisition.

• Work primarily with existing animations in the game, combined with your own animations to create stories and content.

We think you have

• Deep understanding of motion graphics and 2D animation in After Effects.

• Knowledge in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.

• Open to sharing knowledge and supporting your co-workers to develop their skills in the craft.

• Good communication skills and experience working in a team environment.

• An interest in pushing User Acquisition Video ads to the next level!

Who You Are

• A highly skilled 2D animation and motion graphic artist with 2+ years of experience.

• Story-driven - you enjoy creating content with narrative and storytelling.

• Keen eye for detail and excellent creative skills.

• Self-driven, you’re capable of managing your own workload and time to deliver projects.

• A resourceful problem solver, capable of working independently and also collaboratively by involving stakeholders when needed to reach the goal.

• Nice to have: Experience working in Maya, and creating or working with existing 3D animations.

• Nice to have: You keep up with trends in mobile marketing and are familiar with UA KPI’s.

• Nice to have: Experience creating and producing effective User Acquisition videos.
